Traditional Chinese Medicine |

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), is a complete health care tradition that is believed to be a 5,000 year-old practice, yet remains effective today. Carvings on bone were first written protocols of TCM with the "Nei Jing", the "Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine", being the first written documentation of strategies to treat disease. Amazingly, this book is still revered today because the insight of the ancient methods is still applicable to disease treatment and prevention in today's modern world.
TCM is a means of strengthening the body which can be weakened by modern-day stress and environ-mental hazards. Rather than treating symptoms, as Western medicine does, Chinese medicine focuses on strengthening our vital energy, Qi (pronounced "chee"), so that our body can heal itself.
Chinese herbs are a cornerstones of Traditional Chinese Medicine and provide the internal treatment for strengthening the body and addressing specific health concerns.
